Sept. 17, 2004 The Associated Press is hot on the trail of President Bush’s Military records. After filing suit under the Freedom of Information Act, AP lawyers gained an order from a federal judge for all of the president’s military records to be released. However, the president had, previously signed Form 180 authorizing the release of all of his military records. John Kerry has not. When John Kerry is asked about his personal military records, he refers questioners to his website. Unfortunately, his website does not contain all of his records. John Kerry continues to stonewall (much the same as CBS and Dan Rather?) and refuses to sign Form 180. What’s he afraid of? If they were to be available to the public, would the charges brought forth by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth finally and irreversibly be proved true? Where is the AP, in regards to demanding (as they have of President Bush) that John Kerry’s records be released? Have they filed suit for all of Kerry’s records to be made available to them and the public? After all of the flak surrounding Monsieur Kerry, isn’t the AP even a little bit interested in what his records contain? Thus far, it doesn’t appear that any members of the MSM are interested in John Kerry’s records and, ala CBS, seem to actually be trying to “keep Kerry safe”. Is the AP (and others in the MSM) working to ensure that ONLY questions about President Bush’s records remain in play? A few additional questions come to mind. Could this be Phase II of Rather’s Document-Gate; this time with the MSM rallying around CBS? Is this to be mainstream media’s last-ditch attempt to place some credence to the forgeries? If not, shouldn’t the AP want the same information about Kerry? As Rather continues to tell all of us in the public ‘it’s not the forgeries at issue…it’s the charges’. AAARGH! Sorry, just had to get that out. Rather and CBS have definitively and repeatedly shown us they believe that forgeries are “OK” as long as they support their agenda. The ‘C’ in CBS now stands firmly for corruption.
