Sept. 13, 2004 Even as CBS’ and Dan Rather’s integrity is in the tank, in regards to the ostensibly (I believe ‘deliberately’) forged National Guard documents, John Kerry and the DNC still plan to use them in their continuing blasts against President Bush. Today’s Drudge reports “DNC TO LAUNCH FRESH ATTACK ON BUSH GUARD DUTY”. I have no doubt they will refer to the bogus documents, proving the old adage ‘you can fool some of the people all of the time’. Yet another example of the Dem strategy of creating lies and then articulating them, this time they are going to use the forged documents (there are increasingly strong indications that it was the DNC and Kerry campaign who supplied them to CBS) to “prove” their case. This is madness! Or, is it? Let’s take a strong and insightful look at what has actually transpired with these docs. In order to bolster its political agenda CBS and Dan Rather lied to one of their “unimpeachable sources” (Maj. Gen. Hodges [Ret.]), another “unimpeachable source” Marcel Matley (handwriting analyst) said that he had only reviewed one document while Dan Rather said he had “authenticated all four” and CBS refused to listen to those who said the documents were bogus (including Gary Killian-son of the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian who is at the center of this maelstrom) or interview anyone who had positive things to say about President Bush. Further, it is now fairly indisputable that the documents were typed on a word processor or computer, as the docs’ type was kerned and typewrites can’t kern. CBS, however, persists in its deception. The documents and CBS’ explanation of them are patently false and this, most certainly, is not a “CBS was duped” scenario. It has become progressively apparent that CBS knew full-well what it was doing. It willingly participated in this fraud; a fraud that will now be picked up and run with by the Kerry campaign. In any court of law, a Judge will tell you that if a witness’s testimony proves incredible on one issue, you may find his/her testimony on other issues to be incredible, also. Prepare yourselves for more lies on top of lies to support even more lies. Is this complete and abject madness on the part of the Kerry campaign? No. Actually, it is and has been the consistent Dem Strategy. But, it has only now been glaringly revealed to us in the voting public.
