Sept. 12, 2004 Now we get a talking head from down under putting in his two cents worth on the election (or whatever they use for money). I hope George W. Bush makes like that big pink bunny with the drum and keeps going and going and...you get the point, I'm sure. First, and the needle seems to get stuck in the liberal record track, Bush has NOT flung mud. That seems to be a part of the Democratic playbook. He has NOT come out questioning Kerry's, sorry Mr. "Jolly" John (Heinz)Kerry's, service record. Check the facts there Chuckie (or Eric, or whatever your name really is)others have questioned it, but Bush BENT OVER BACKWARDS to note Kerry served his country well. It's Public record, GET THE FACTS RIGHT, okay? I hope Bush is just getting started. I hope the old boy is one day as honored as Reagan was recently. He went to Iraq last Thanksgiving to serve our troops. He didn't sit around and glut himself. He didn't go with the Pomp and Circumstance of fanfair. He went without anyone given notice ahead of time. Taken us to war unnecessarily? I realize Queenland is on the other side of the world, but hey where were you three years ago? In kindergarten? Still? Bush went to Ground Zero while it was still smoking. I don't think going after those responcible for 2800 American deaths was unnecessary. That's not counting the ones in Pennsylvania, or the Pentagon. Getting a crazy out of the way before he became dangerous(too bad we didn't do the same with Hitler) was a plus as far as I see. This brings me to another point. As the Liberals celebrat the 1,000th soldier to die in Iraq I want to see these people honored as HEROES! They volunteered to serve this country. Many signed up after the Trade Centers went down. I think calling the war in Iraq unnecessary a disservice to their honor and their names. They didn't think it unnecessary to go. Don't DARE dishonor these people. EVER! They are HEROES! What the heck. Bush has been slandered, libeled, and bad mouthed. They claim he skipped out on his service during Viet Nam. Well, when the novocain of the brain wears off some of you mind numbed robots of the left I hope you realize what tripe (yes, I said tripe!) you've been spewing. The party line of the left is crap. It goes against the grain of the facts. Read the facts, not the papers. President Bush went to Florida (for some of you in a certain city in California that's in another state on the other side of the country, I got in deep Sh** for naming it) rolled up his sleeves and didn't just look around and tisk tisk and leave. He HELPED out. Money and hands on help. He's not afraid to get a little dirty. Mr. "Jolly" John (Heinz) Kerry didn't do that, well if he did it didn't make the evening news. Dan Rather (I'd Rather NOT) would have been on the roof of the newsroom with the P.A. system turned up full blast if he had. He also cut taxes. I know that doesn't mean much to libs, who are mostly rich as I hear it as they like paying taxes, but to me...well, that helped me take care of myself and two teenagers quite awhile. I had just lost my job and that helped, believe me. He also started programs to help improve schools and health care for the elderly. Not enough as some say, but to a Liberal when is enough enough? He's just getting started. I know this isn't going to change small little minds. It only vents my spleen. However, if it helps clear things up a little for the confused, and you know who you are, it might be worth it if I take a little heat over it later. Nuff said.
