Sept. 11, 2004 On September 10th (notice the Superscript), Terry McAuliffe said “I can unequivocally say that no one involved here at the Democratic National Committee had anything at all to do with any of those documents. If I were an aspiring young journalist, I think I would ask Karl Rove that question”. If you analyze what McAuliffe said then he knows that the CBS “memos are forgeries, there is no other explanation. Why would Rove expose these “memos” if they were the real thing? This would be like Mark Geragos in court pulling out a bloody knife with Scott’s fingerprints all over it. Since McAuliffe pointed the finger at Rove, then he admits to the forgery of these “memos”. Rove could only have used forgeries to embarrass the DNC, the Kerry campaign and whoever in the media would end up with the “memos” for publication. Rove would have to take a calculating chance that the Dems as hungry and desperate as they are to get something real dirty on Bush, would bite on the forged “memos” and run with them with little scrutiny of its veracity and make them public. Would Rove do this with real “memos”? I am not saying that Rove didn’t have a hand on this. I am saying that McAuliffe by implicating Rove stepped in “IT” up to his knees. McAuliffe knows how the games are played and he also knows that Rove is not a stupid man. His statement was a mere diversion to be quoted by the MSM.
