Sept. 7, 2004 After 30 years of insulting Viet Nam Vets accusing them of war atrocities/crimes, of being baby killers, raping women, cutting off heads and burning villages, John Kerry has now set his sights on Non-Vets who received deferments and others who for many reasons who were not drafted to go to Viet Nam. He did this by accusing Vice President Cheney of not being fit for command since Mr. Cheney received deferments. In an act of desperation, Kerry with one single sentence insulted everyone who did not serve including Clinton who evaded the draft by getting out of the country and his own running mate who also got deferments. He also insulted anyone who did not serve during Viet Nam or at any other time. It has been proven that being a Viet Nam Vet does not automatically qualify anyone to be President but now Kerry is making his own rules, the more desperate he gets the more rules he establishes. I suppose that we will have to get Congress to amend the Constitution for future Presidential candidates making have served in Viet Nam a set requirement just because John Kerry says so. Since in a few years all Viet Nam Vets will be getting older or passing away, soon there will not be anyone qualified to be President. We will have to elect Kerry as “President for Life”. ------------ About the author Al Young: I am a disgusted former registered democrat.
