Sept. 4, 2004 Okay, okay, I thought I heard the ref blow his whistle, or was that her whistle? Everybodies been piling up on top of Zell Miller. Get up and let the guy have a little air. What's the matter with you people? Can't a man break from his party once in awhile and say something contrary to party line (his, or hers) and everyone else gets their nose out of joint. Leave off. I mean, look didn't Ronnie Reagan Jr. speak at the other guys convention? Or, maybe that was a CGI (computer generated image). Hummm, it's hard to tell sometimes. If it WAS him, well, look the guy just lost his father and...do I need to go on? I didn't hear the speech myself. I heard it was good. I had other things going on at the time, but the stink it caused, weeellll doggies! That's gonna take more than a case of Freebreez(?), or Lisal. We're gonna have to leave the windows open a long time on that one. I want to thank Mr. Miller. I think he deserves a Silver Star, or maybe even a Purple Heart. He's definately been cut big time by some of his critics. I hope he knows I appreciate him. I think it's brave of him to buck the system to say what he thinks. I myself, (gasp) have been known to stand up for someone on the left when I felt they were right (darn, that was a terrible pun even for me). Or, was that a bad dream, Hmmm? Anyway, I think Mr. Miller should get some recognition for standing up for what is right, for speaking out for what is contrary to his own party. If they don't want him back he's welcome here. But hey, when the other guys play Kill the Quarterback they play too rough. Let's just back off and let the guy have a little room to get back up. ------------ About the author: Lee Zelhart is a proud graduate of McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois.
