Zell Miller Was Right To Tell Chris Matthews To Shut Up [Part 2]

By Megan Williams
Sept. 3, 2004

I received some emails and I would love to share some with you.

This is actually regards to my last column. The first one is from William Averton who says

"You are such a complete f@#$ing idiot. I don't know why in the world you think you have any goddamn intellectual capacity to handle making a political comment defending a person who is clearly an out of touch nut case (Zell Miller) who, in addition, has completely lost his cool. Obviously you have completely lost touch with objectivity. Save your opinions. You are a f@$#ing moron."

My, my, my, my, obviously William over here is angry that a woman has something to say. He didn't bother addressing any facts or ideas that may have brought some intellect to me. Nope, instead he curses at me and calls me a moron. Well, William, obviously YOU are the moron, why not save your opinions.

Another email I got was from a guy named, Jack Hammer, HAHAHA! Yeah right! Sounds like a wrestler. Anyway, he writes

"If Chris Matthews is a blond-haired moron, then you must be a red-headed c*nt. Chris Matthews kicks butt, not only of the old fool like Zell, but the c*nts like you."

What is with the morons? Doesn't anybody have anything relevent to say that doesn't involve cursing or idiotic remarks? Obviously these two letters came from two moronic MEN that have nothing better to do than to get angry because a WOMAN has something to say. Aaaww, what's wrong guys? Did you get made when they passed the right for women to vote? Aaaww, poor babies. Well, maybe if you guys would act like gentlemen, you would actually get yourself a woman.

Finally, I received a letter from Kimberly White, a teacher. She writes.

"The fact that you're a teacher and that you support Bush/Cheney says a lot about you. It's a tad paradoxical that a teacher would support a president who passes legislation like NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND, which gives virtually no funding to states to implement the legislation, and requires teachers to eliminate any semblance of creativity or critical thought from their lesson planning in order to teach kids how to pass a standardized test. I also find it appaling that this education legislation was co-authored by our own Secretary of Defense...do you know who that is??? Donald Rumsfeld. He contributed the provision that if schools do not provide military recruiters names and addresses of all their students, they lose federal funding. Hmmm. Doesn't that sound a bit odd to you? Sounds to me like they're setting our youth up to be bullet sponges for the impending wars they're planning (all in the name of fighting terror).

I pity your students because I seriously doubt you offer them any critical analysis of current events or history. It's quite likely that you spout the same hateful, deceitful rhetoric (that somehow passes for patriotism and compassion) they hear every day on TV, never once offering them the other side of the story. That's good. Keep producing little non-thinking drones. That's just what this country needs...who else will fight our wars for us if not the non- thinking drones?

Oh, "I'm a veteran and a teacher."

Well, Kim, obviously you're not going to have any kids to teach if you have Kerry flip-floping around like a fish. Here's the thing Kimmy, I teach history, so naturally I'm going to teach them about the wars that we had to fought. It takes more than books to be free sweetheart, it also takes a man like George W. Bush to actually FIGHT for our cause instead of just tucking our tails between our legs and dealing with it. Remember when The World Trade Center was bombed in 1997? What did Clinton do about it? Nothing. Remember in 2001 when The World Trade Center was finally destoryed? What did Bush do about it? I rest my case.

That is why I am so proud to be a Republican, did you see OUR President last night? He knows what he's doing. Cheney knows what he's doing, but Kerry hasn't a clue what he's doing. How about the tax cut checks Bush gave to you? I received my tax cut check and I was glad to get it. What about the fact that Kerry said he voted for the war in Iraq, and then later he voted against it? HE said so himself.

Sorry guys, but I've made up my mind. Thanks for the emails. Keep'em coming!

Vote Bush and Cheney!
