Oct. 30, 2004 I give my hand then follows my heart I give my smile then follows my words I give my mind and follows my soul a promise is a promise believe it when I say I'm yours to protect and not dismay I won't let you down or even embarass you I'll be like a shadow just watching and not showing I will appear when you need my presence and then hide again back in the shadows look around you .. you can't see me but you know am there whenever you need me when you look in my eyes you see so much when you touch my hand.. you'll know my life am here there am even everywhere.. no where to be found.. but once needed I'll appear even from underground.. am no superman am not even the strongest man am just a normal man passing by who does what he feels and goes on with his journey smile innocent rose there's nothing to fear.. my blood is yours for your worst fear I'll heal your wounds.. even take hits for you and still smile upon you and help you up don't worry about me I can overcome almost anything for my life depends on a smile so when you're smile is there I'll know am alive and when I fade away please do not cry I'm what I'm just like I say am only one man with a word to say trust is all I have honesty is my sword faith is my shield.. so don't let go and hold on as much as you can the journey goes on upon the vast lands ------------ About the author: My Name is Tarek Refaat, 24 years old, from Egypt am into history, and writing poetry..
