Oct. 26, 2004 Just when I thought I wouldn’t be surprised by any more of John Kerry’s lunatic offerings…I am. John Kerry and his die-hard-leftist-Kerry-supporting media are, again, reporting on a large and missing weapons’ cache in Iraq; specifically in Al-Qaqaa. I first heard about this, from the “mainstream media”, months ago. Apparently Kerry’s media didn’t get enough public reaction, then, so they are replaying it now as if it’s new information. Although, Kandidate Kerry is screaming from the top of his lungs that this shows “incompetence on the part of President Bush”, the truth is that these weapons and/or explosives weren’t there when our troops initially entered Iraq. They actually looked for them when they arrived there! As the John Kerry campaign no longer has anything else to shout about (except for former President Clinton’s now stumping for Kerry), it and the Dem media (and the Kerry-supporting UN) have now dredged up this old story and are presenting it as if it just happened. They are pretending that this is “new” information. It isn’t. Again, I have heard this story whined over and over again. But, I haven’t heard any great public outcry. However, now all the leftist print media outlets (including their TV networks) are claiming “shock and dismay”! Is this an attempt to ‘enrage the public’, so that it will vote for the media’s darling Kerry? Of course it is! The DNC’s and media’s attempts to discredit President Bush with forged military documents didn’t work, ABC’s Halperin memo was exposed and Kerry has no plan for the country save turning it over to the UN. The media was and is desperate for something…anything! So, it scoured its news archives and reprinted one of its old stories with a new twist. Despicable? You bet.
