Oct. 25, 2004 Are even John Kerry’s buds in the UN turning away from and against him? Monsieur Kerry said that he had met ‘for hours’ with all members of the UN Security Council, before voting to authorize war with Iraq in October 2002. However, Joel Mowbray reported in Sunday’s Washington Times that this simply isn’t true. In another bash of President Bush, John Kerry stated: "This president hasn't listened. I went to meet with the members of the Security Council in the week before we voted. I went to New York. I talked to all of them, to find out how serious they were about really holding Saddam Hussein accountable." Much the same as Kerry’s prior statements that multiple world leaders ‘want me to win’, this latest Kerry prevarication has been exposed. Four of the five members of the 2002 UN Security Council said that they had even never met John Kerry. My guess is that Mr. Kerry never expected anyone to ask them. Most certainly, with the general bias of the leftist US press, Mr. Kerry never expected it to be researched and reported. Surprise, John. Then, there is Mr. Kerry’s recent statement, to his faithful, that he will protect the United States now as he did against the Viet Cong. Huh? With the exception of his self-proclaimed shooting of an unarmed Vietnamese teenager, in the back, he never did. In fact, the former Viet Cong have his picture proudly displayed as a North Vietnamese “war hero”. Remember, folks, he fought FOR the Viet Cong enemies, after his 4- month Viet Nam adventure; not against them. If we extrapolate Kerry’s prior actions and apply them to our current situation with terrorists, we can expect to have the Islamo-fascists running the United States of America. John Kerry’s tenure as POTUS would be short- lived. The terrorists and leftists would be running the country. There would be no Kerry presidential legacy, as there would be no more United States. Think that’s a bit of a reactionary statement? Not if you look beyond the Kerry rhetoric and examine what he’s done vs. what he’s said. To underline the Kerry campaign’s real message, his running mate’s wife (Mrs. Edwards) said if Kerry and Edwards aren’t elected there will be riots. Apparently, the only way the Kerry campaign sees that they can win is to continue threatening the US voting public. I now stand even more firmly behind my prior observations of Mr. Kerry.
