It Would Be A Crime To Elect Barack Obama

By Lee Zelhart
Oct. 17, 2004

I have laid off. Most of the time I've been taking shots at Jolly John (Heinz) Kerry and it's been...FUN. I know that makes me sound mean-spirited and petty, but I'm just doing what the left is.

I'll tell you what would be a crime. It would be a crime, and a shame, to elect Barack Obama to the Senate. He is denying he is a liberal, even hiding behind his wife's skirts (or rather pants, sounds like) on the issue. I have had enough of clowns like Dickie Durbin calling the shots for this state in Washington. At least with Pete Fitzgerald in office we had a little balance.

We wouldn't have that with Barack Obama. He will vote with his mind numbed puppet pal of Daley: Dick Durbin. The Chicago mob would rule the whole ball of wax. The Illinois DNC gang would dig in their Iron mitts and we would loose all our freedoms. All our money which doesn't go to Chicago would divert there.

The machine of His Honah da Mayah Richahd Daley has fingers and toes in everything now. The lottery in this state doen't go to the school system like they said it would, or any other resource of the Casino Boats. It goes to Chicago and the mayor's mansion.

For his stand on abortion alone Mr. Obama shouldn't get elected. (Okay, right now fair warning. Anyone out there who sends me another poison pen e-mail and no subject will get marked spam right off. No subject line from here on is suspect.) I also don't want propaganda(campaign literature - for those of you who live in Texico, see we do have comparable areas in Illinois to Rio Linda) sent to back up your position. Propaganda is only good for those who are weak minded and haven't made up their minds on the issues (but I repeat myself).

I know what is right and wrong. I know abortion is wrong. (Look, even to save a woman's life there's got to be a way to also save the baby; even if it's transplanting it into another woman's womb. I know that sounds a little nieve, but if you can transplant part of a pig, or a baboon into a human, and sometimes things from lower animals like vaccines, you can move an embryo, or fetus).

I know homosexuality is wrong, too. The parts don't match up. Even liberals can figure that out. You don't plug a lamp into another lamps cord. (For those of you in Texico, or Rio Linda, or West Palm Beach county you plug it into an outlet) I mean think about it (though I'd rather not).

Stealing is wrong, too. Liberals don't however think of it as such when they raise taxes. I can tell you right now not only the rich benefited from Mr. Bush's cuts, but I did too and I am as poor as a church mouse. The president is a real MAN not like that phony-balony, plastic-banana, good-times rock and roller we had in the White House for the previous 8 years (How could you clowns live with that? You gotta know what Big Bubba Bill was doing was wrong, YOU KNOW!)

So what if Alan Keyes was brought in. He's a good man. I agree with the man. I think he would be a great champion of everyone in Washington. I don't just mean Illinois either. I don't know where he will likely move in the end. I'd like him to move down here. The weather is nicer then up north (if you don't think 10-20 degrees makes a diff turn your heater down that much this winter).

I also think this part of the state is more genuine. People are real here (and real earthy) we don't prance about like our you know what don't stink (okay a few do, but they're Democrats like Kurt Granberg who won't take my, or anyone's calls). Alan, may I call you Alan? Come on down. The southern part of Illinois isn't rich, but when we throw a party everyone's welcome(Can you say CARBONDALE? I knew you could.) We'd love to have you represent us. We know Mr. Obama wouldn't. Let's let the Chicago boys know we're here and back Alan Keyes. (Hey, this is a big Democrat town and I've seen a lot of signs supporting Keyes around down here.)
