Oct. 17, 2004 Today is another sunday and I want to share a vital word with us readers. Bible says "God is not a man that he will lie or the son of man that he will fail" also, he said "his ears are not too big to hear us neither is his hands too short to save..." One of the vital reasons why it seems that our prayers are not been answered is that we are not specific in our prayers to God. Be speific. That's is message from GOD. Imagine somebody that ask for a house from God, it's possible for God to him a bungalow, duplex, a room and parlour and it's possible for him to give him (the person) a mansion. Everything I listed above are all houses but, they are quiet different from one another. The same thing is applicable to all the good things of life so, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The only reason why it seems our prayers are not been answered is because God is waiting for us to say the specific thing we want from him. He wants us to be specific. Hannah was specific as to what she wants. She told God in the book of 1st Kings starting from chapter two that she wanted a man-not a male child since, it's possible for a male to still be a female but a man is always a man. God answered her prayer because she told God what she wanted. She wanted a man that will rule the whole isreal and she was given. That's why I'm trying to provoke somebody today and that somebody can be you. BE SPECIFIC IN YOUR DEALINGS WITH GOD. IT'S WELL. ------------ About the author Olamide Ayeni: A 21 year old female.
