Oct. 13, 2004 Gee; just when you thought you didn’t need the United Nations to send election monitors into your country; just when you thought you had it all down and that it was all making sense; comes today’s news. First, please understand “8Eyewitness News.com is a CBS affiliate, so there is no telling about the validity of this report. Even the report is a report based in un-surety. In “Voter Registrations Possibly Trashed”, investigative reporter George Knapp reports, “Employees of a private registration company allege that hundreds, perhaps thousands of voters who may think they are registered will be rudely surprised…The company claims hundreds of registration forms were thrown in the trash.” The article continued: “The I-Team has obtained information about an alleged wide spread pattern of potential registration fraud aimed at democrats.” And the rest of the article goes on to describe the actions of the private registration firm “Voter’s Outreach for America AKA. America Votes” and how they trashed democrat registrations while processing republican ones. (Independent registrants aren’t mentioned, nor are any other party affiliations. You know, fair elections and all that.) Meanwhile, back at the NBC affiliate 9NEWS.com, their “I-Team investigation uncovers voter registration fraud” is a report about “a record number of fraudulent voter registrations across the state [of Colorado]” by a private group called ACORN. Now, you have to look very hard at the 9NEWS report; but you never do find out who ACORN represents. I think someone should inform John Kerry that organizations responsible for getting the democrat vote registered are throwing away the wrong registrations; don’t you? On an even sillier election note: democrats in Texas are having fun showing the bare butt of Rep. Pete Sessions all over the place. Old silly Pete did the “streaker” thing back in 1974 and the democrats have the pictures. What’s funny is that rival Martin Frost is displaying the pictures, declaring Sessions: “exposed himself to children and strangers.” You know; much like old Willie Jeff playfully exposing himself to Paula Jones (a stranger) in his hotel room. Does anyone else detect a little note of hypocrisy in Mr. Frost’s statement? Ah! I love elections; don’t you? Be sure to get registered and vote November 2nd. Just be sure you don’t register with any of the above listed organizations. No telling where your registration will end up. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae is an Independent, Conservative, Christian who has been personally insulted as a voter because John Kerry thinks the "Heart and Soul of America" lays in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. Well, Michael McCrae thinks America is better than that. Michael McCrae believes there is at least some morality left. So Michael McCrae is going to leave this here (until after the election) as a reminder to all of what John Kerry and John Edwards believe the Real America to be. They believe America's "heart and soul" resides in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. You can draw your own conclusions.
