John Kerry On Terrorism: “It’s A Nuisance”

By Sher Zieve
Oct. 11, 2004

In one of his most telling comments, to date, John Kerry referred to terrorism as a ‘nuisance’. In response to a New York Times magazine interview, Sunday, he said: ''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives but they're a nuisance.'' In the same interview, Kerry also said: ''As a former law enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling." I was and am dumbfounded. Not only does John Kerry tell us that we will just have to learn to live with the ‘annoyance’ of beheadings and planes flying into buildings to kill thousands of people (from his comments we can safely assume that they don’t bother him) but, we should compare it to prostitution and illegal gambling! His statements go so far beyond the realm of sane and rational thought that they, almost, cannot be comprehended. John Kerry really DOESN’T get it. And, this individual is running for the President of the United States! Kerry’s attitude is one only relegated to the rarified air of the true elitists; those individuals who have no concept of life in all of its reality.

John Kerry has not only shown himself to be weak on intelligence, weak on security and weak on the economy but, he has now shown himself to be weak-minded as well! Can any of us afford to have this individual housed at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? No, we can’t and neither can the country.
