Oct. 9, 2004 (President George W. Bush was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. He pleaded guilty, paid a fine, and had his driver's license suspended for 30 days. His Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.) In each Debate, President George W. Bush appeared to be “Under The Influence” of the enormous Power of the Presidency, to declare War on another country. It does not take a medical professional to diagnose a person who has an additive personality, for it is quite evident that George W. Bush possesses all of the traits. George W. Bush appears to be trying to convince the American people that he was not drunk with power, when he and his advisors decided to commit troops to a Viet Nam type of invasion of Iraq. However, it appears that he was intoxicated by the power of the Presidency when the decision was made to invade Iraq, with no exit plan. Although, the Congress of the United States gave him the “Power” to take such an action, a sober individual would know their limits and rationally use that power. Over one thousand American lives lost, can attest that George W. Bush was “Intoxicated” behind the wheel of the Presidency. He had his finger on the “Button” and he pushed it. This time, President George W. Bush can not pay a fine, and walk away from the continuing carnage he created in Iraq. Only by dislodging, and suspending him from the Commander and Chief position, will our country resume being lead by a sober individual. George W. Bush is a recovering alcoholic, who has replaced one addition with another. He has the mind-set of a drunk, by drinking way funding for important social programs; and has the mind- set of a compulsive gambler, as he has “bet” the “Rent Money” with a costly war which depleted the surplus. Powerful friends who are aware of his addictions are covering for him, for they know that he is a “dry drunk” who has abused the Office of The President. I call into question George W. Bush’s ability to command the troops in Iraq, and his ability to govern. In each debate, George W. Bush appears to be an incompetent employee trying to convince his employer (The American People) that his current position is a “Hard Job,” and that he should not be fired. Excuse me, he has had almost four years to show that he is up to the task. The Cold War against the Soviet Union drove that country into bankruptcy. Will the stretching of our Military and its resources, drive our country into the same scenario? From my vantagepoint, it appears that billions of dollars are being spent with no appreciable return. Can we afford to have George W. Bush as a banker? He has overdrawn our checking account (taxes), and he needs to pay the bounced check fees, and penalties. ------------ About the author Argile Stox: Visit the website: http://mysite.verizon.net/res8nrbr/ Email: argilestox@verizon.net Tell a friend about this site! ------------ |
