Oct. 3, 2004 Life is full of ups and downs. Nothing in life can be free and easy. It's only the tough that can get going when the going becomes tough. The weak and the careless gets injured and dies off by the roadside. Such is life. I'm calling us to a very vital challenge, because anybody that tells us we won't have problems is a liar that needs to be ignored. Everybody will face one problem or the other just as our Lord Jesus Christ faced. The only thing that can keep us moving is our determination and faith. Only the determined can succed. Show me a man without problem and I will show you a man from another planet. Also, a man without a problem on earth is a problem to the earth. We are all bound to face problems, either we are whites or blacks. Problems do not recognise skin neither does it recognise country. The only thing problems can recognise is our courage. I'm saying this because of people like me who are born into a country without a future, who are in a wasted generation. Problems are always a raw material in the factory of success, so brace up and take your future into your hands. We can never grow taller than our attitude. So, let's change our thinking faculty and face life with courage. Let's learn to make and mould good things out of bad situations. Our leaders might be demons in human form, that can't stop us. The only thing that we stop us from making the best out of life is our attitude. Not forgetting that our attitude determines our altitude in life. Only those with positive attitude will soar high. Just to give us a word of exaltation because today is a sunday. I hope my word will put smiles on someones pale face. I love u all. ------------ About the author Olamide Ayeni: A 21 year old female.
