Nov. 7, 2004 One question that still is being asked by the MSM day in and day out is “what went wrong?” For the MSM to bring up this question, there had to exist a high degree of confidence in that Kerry would win or he had been chosen to win by Devine Intervention. One could also say that the MSM could have been cocky in bringing home their boy since the MSM had been responsible for the relentless onslaught of baseless attacks on Bush. So the question remains unanswered and the MSM is by now running out of hairs to pull. I just loved the demeanor of Brokaw, Rather, Mathews and Carville as it became obvious that Kerry had lost Ohio. How about a simple answer like Kerry just didn’t have what most of the American people wanted. How about the fact that Kerry should have run a campaign for the American people and not for the Europeans? He did have the overwhelming European vote all locked up but no one has won a U S Presidential election with foreign votes. Some could also go as far as saying that the American voters were not ready to accept a traitor and a communist/socialist as President and a buffoon as First Lady. Fortunately the American people is not as stupid as the Dems try to make us believe we are. Their elitist attitude is insulting but none the less fostered and promoted within the Dem ranks. They feel we are too unintelligent to think for ourselves and they must rescue and protect us from the evils of the world. They are wrong, regardless what Chirac and the Dems say about us we do not need anyone to think for us. Isn’t this same type of control used by the Communists and dictators? They are now calling the American voters “dumb”, what is very dumb is the European electorate putting in power communist/socialist governments who have done nothing but destroy the economy of the EEC. Aren’t they just a tad jealous of our strong economy when the EEC averages 10% + unemployment? This is what they would like by Kerry winning in order for the USA to have the same type of government and demise as they do. The list of losers in the 2004 election does not just include Kerry and all the other Dems who lost Gubernatorial, Senate and Congressional races, the list is much wider and worth to be noted. Terrorists in general, the terrorists states of N Korea, Iran and Syria; Dan Rather, CBS, NY Times, WaPo and other elite MSM members; Kofi Annan and his corrupted UN; the corrupted governments of France, Germany, Russia and China; the NAACP, Jesse Jackson both by putting all their eggs on the Dem’s basket. Now as Kerry goes back being once again the obscure Senator from Massachusetts that he has been for twenty years, I would caution him to be careful in two years when he is up for re- election if he chooses to run. Although he took his own state by a wide margin, he will surely have a fight on his hands in two years and he will not have Viet Nam to help him this time. To the Europeans I would suggest they just should “lump it” and not to get involved in our elections as we do not get involved or criticize them as they elect Communists to govern them. The American people are not cowards as the Spanish election showed the Europeans to be. ------------ About the author Al Young: I am a disgusted former registered democrat.
