Nov. 3, 2004 With the continual barrage from the liberal mainstream press advising us that we are a “heavily and evenly divided nation”, one should have logically surmised that the presidential vote numbers would have been neck and neck; between President Bush and John Kerry. As it turns out, however, President Bush has broken all previous presidential popular vote records; even those enjoyed by President Reagan. We the people neither fell for the bin-Laden threat and Kerry endorsement nor the confusion of the Socialist candidate. It appears that something must be wrong within the liberal Dem and MSM camp! Tuesday’s MSM ‘exit polls’ showed Kerry winning by a landslide. These were completely and utterly wrong. This election has marked similarities to Truman vs. Dewey. We can only trust that the NY Times didn’t have to destroy its front-page-with headline proclaiming “Kerry Wins!” In addition to the unprecedented and decisive win by President Bush, the GOP increased its Senate numbers and the definition of marriage as “only between a man and a woman” passed in every state that they appeared on the ballot. This rather strongly and brilliantly illustrates the point that either the United States of America is far more conservative than it is liberal or President Bush received a substantial number of votes from both sides. Despite the spewed falsehoods of the US mainstream press, on Election Day 2004 we showed the world that we are not a divided nation. We rallied around and for the president. Today, as I breathe a sigh of relief, I offer my personal and heartfelt congratulations to President Bush. I, also, offer the ‘rest of the world’ an explanation for this victory. We in the United States still vote for character, honor and values in our leadership.
