Nov. 1, 2004 Is being a fiction writer hard on a columnist? The world has their hands on a writers work. All grammar is with in their eye sight. Bad mouthing becomes a natural thing a writer hears. And, should get use to it. A writer must be strong, and be able to ignore all dis respect. Bad grammer, though, does make your work look bad. Other writers have a tendancy to look at grammar. They are so use to editing. So, when they read some others work. This is what they look for. Also, students at schools take notice. You have your teachers that take all grammar to mind. A badly wrote project is aimed for disaster. The average reader doesn't seem to mind a grammar mistake. Here and there. A fiction writer is someone that makes up things. It comes from their mind like an artist at work. A Columnist does not write fiction. And, makes sure they have did their research. The problem is that people from other countries read these. They have alot to say about the colume. By usualy Emailing the writer. To explain the writer is a mad insane fake. That all the columit work is nothing more then fiction. This sort of person has no under standing. They are the very ones with out the konwledge of the subject. It is them that should do their research. For, the Columnist is writing from another country. Ones countries views are not so laid back as theirs. It takes years of college to be able to write. As a writer myself, I took nine years. Combining everything I was taught. I learned the proper way to write a structured sentance. Although, I get Emails sometimes. Very rude, and out spoken letters. In the best part of it. I get 98% good feed back. From students, and so forth. Wanting to use my columns in their essays. My work is not made up. And, I would not write a column. Not if I never did my research. And, knew what I was talking of. To be able to live up to the article. There fore, being a fiction writer is hard on a Columist.
