Enzymes? What's That?

Most of us know that an Enzyme is a protein that accelerates reactions in our bodies.

What kinds of chemical reactions are going on in there that keep biological process that make Life sustained?

And the most important thing is for us to know what foods should we eat to keep our lives moving on. (That is the question that even Hamlet wouldn't answer.) What about such sciences as biology and chemistry? They discovered some things: let's start with cheese. (It's my favourite food.)

We eat cheese because our bones need Calcium. But sometimes, calcium isn't absorbed properly. We may have difficiency of calcium in our bodies; our bones can be broken very easily. So, what solution must be found to help enzymes in increasing bio-chemical reactions of Ca with other elements?

Some scientists discovered that Magnesium must be added in the form of a whole wheat bread. Ca and Mg=strong bones. Isn't it fun?

It seems that this combinations of foods works quite well. I am feeding the person that way for seven months. He is much stronger now. But is it enough if someone has Anemia (lack of red cells in blood, in this case? It is, partly!

Such patients need extra amount of iron (Fe.) As a caregiver, I give him every morning three kinds of juices such as tomato and honey with water; a lot of apples (mostly from deep freezer) and a cooked cabbage. One of the most important foods for anemia patients is Salmon which contains Omega-3. But it must be consumed with hard-boiled eggs because salmon also needs assitance for absorption. Iron of Salmon and copper of boiled eggs do very well together: blood streams get the best stuff that helps red cells to carry oxygen to our Brain and other vital parts of our body.

So, elements, such as Fe, Cu, O and others are becoming soulmates that make us going. Is that all we need to be healthy? No, Sir! We also need walking and sometimes mucles work to pump red cells successfully into our bones, making our lungs strong and hearts active. It would be nice to do some excecises (maybe of your own style) that will keep us at healthy level.

It would be wrong to think that several combinations of foods is quite enough to recover from diseases: we have too many elements in us that may need new combinatios of foods. We should hope that scientific researches will give us additional instructions. We, Humans, are as complex as the Cosmos. Maybe my "HeroesfromOuterspace" will help us in the matter of our healthy survival.
