May 20, 2004 I had never been in love like this, until I met the man of my dreams. I first met John in high school, but we didn’t really get to know each other or start dating until later. We dated for six months, then got engaged for one year before getting married five and a half years ago. John Coonfield is the love of my life. He is very outgoing and energetic person. He has a soft voice like Summer rain, but is very funny and knows how to make me laugh. His hair is short and light brown, and soft like a feather His lips are sweet like cherry wine, and his pretty blue - green eyes sparkle like diamonds. His face is smooth to the touch, and his good smelling cologne can really turn me on. He has an attractive smile that lights up my day, and a gentle touch with hands as warm as a ray of sunshine. I love when he holds me close ti him. It feels so good, like a big teddy bear. He moved around a lot as a kid because his dad was in the Navy. I am glad they decided to settle down here when his dad got out, because I got to meet the most wonderful and amazing man.Now at the age of 26 he is a very hard worker. He works at Dukes Memorial Hospital in the Emergency Room with lots of cool equipment to play with. He follows the dress code by wearing black boots, dark navy blue medic pants, and a E.M.S. sweatshirt everyday to work. He loves to help people, but it is an emotional job. When a call comes in they jump in the ambulance to go on the run. He says, “You get a adrenalin rush, because you never know what to expect until you arrive on scene.” He walks at a fast pace, because very second counts when it comes to life or death. He is patient, which he has to be in his line of work. He’s very happy when he gets a save, but gets melancholy when the patients don’t pull through. I admire John for the courage and strength that he has to be an E.M.T. and a Volunteer Firefighter, and for his positive approach towards life. He is pretty busy with his job and his Paramedic schooling, but no matter what he never stops loving me. He is the sunshine in my life that brightens up my day. The light in my eyes, the air I breathe, and the hope in my dreams. He will always be the love of my life, and I would fall in love with him all over again and again. ------------ About the author: Misty Potter was born to the parents of Mack and Sheila Potter at Howard Community Hospital on February 6,1976.
