Monkey See, Monkey Do [Islamic Iranian Hypocrisy]

By Dennis L. Siluk
June 28, 2004

Insincerity. The self-righteousness of the diplomats who were trashing our American values on this Baghdad prison affair, is not bashing the Iranians for doing the same thing. Why? My gosh is it a one-way street [a rhetorical question I know]? Is not parading British soldiers down the streets of Iran [a replay of a bygone era], in violation of the Geneva Convention, or is the Convention only for Americans, and the British - the West? Come on world, speak up: they even blind folded them; where are the activists now! Where are the rights! Where are the Middle East Newspapers, and the French "Le Monde," who hates the Jews as much as the Arab world does? Speak up Europe for your comrade, England. Silent are they not, just as the Middle East likes it, it is why they do not like Americans, we speak up, up with clubs in the back of our hands. Europe speaks with a pleading wish-list. Iran was just testing the water, wait for the next time.

I know what the activist will say: they were spying; they are always on the bad-guys side. If they were so what, China and Russia and the rest of the world does it all the time, plus, I doubt these eight men could provide anything worth while any how; surely not more than our spy satellites do, or the FBI or CIA does already know [so what is there to spy on? Might be the question]. And here is a nice friendly country, saying to a nice friendly country: were going to hold you men, put them on display, put them on T.V. and make them say "uncle," or what we want them to say - they feel in control do they not. It only reinforces what I have always believed; rules are for the weaker country to use against the stronger country, to hold them at bay.
