June 26, 2004 There are events in our day to day survival that provides knowledge and wisdom on how to go about our struggles. Some funny, some sad, others bizarre, others mind provoking. There's a call center in the Philippines located in one of the busiest sectors of the country. Call center as a booming industry in the Philippines gives equal stature to everyone in search of jobs, no discrimination to sex, age, education and religion. Even the handicaps are given the chance to boast their potentials. The one and only requirement is persistence to produce the desired number of sales, difficult to some, easy to others. But something unusual happened to this call center, the head security was murdered and days after, the elevator and several floors became haunted. One particular girl Jenny was with a co-employee, Carla in the elevator when it stopped and opened on a certain floor. 2 o'clock in the morning, Jenny and Carla were on graveyard shift and the whole building was almost dark and deserted. Carla tried pushing the elevator buttons but the door failed closing. Marla trembled in fear and could hear faint cry and mumbles from Jenny but her focused was on the elevator until the door finally closed. Reaching the desired floor. Carla rushed out in panic but looked back and was shocked to see Jenny crawling on all fours, in terror and hysteria. The whole call center turned into chaos as Jenny in sobs and delirium recounted the episode. The elevator suddenly opened, an old man in security get up, dashed in with face all bloodied. Carla saw nothing. Jenny felt so heavy and collapsed but attempted to crawl and escape. It was learned that Jenny possessed the third eye - the gift or the misfortune of seeing ghosts and discarnate spirits. She had horrifying experiences in the past, encountered with disembodied entities, some merely faceless others dreadful and truly bizarre. The securities corroborated Jenny's description. It was the murdered head security. The head security might be communicating something, to tell who the culprit was, just like in M Night Shayamalan's The Sixth Sense, the boy Cole seeing dead people. But Jenny does not possess enough courage to accept the message, not at this time. Some skeptics refused to believe, it was an attention grabbing antics though few questioned Jenny's credibility, she is one of the company's top caliber agent, hardworking yet funny and comical, a clown per se. Third Eye - A phenomenon or a dark flick of one's imagination. Note: The article is a true story. It happened just recently, May 2004.
