June 23, 2004 Peru and Bolivia are not the only places in this world that have morons or better put (because this Mayor knows better) - idiots, for mayors, we got one right in our own backyard. Mayor Randy Kelly, St. Paul, Minnesota - I heard a few months ago, he was having 5000+ immigrants come to Minnesota [just the airfare alone is $50,000]: St. Paul [just got in 11-yesterday, the first day of Summer, what a celebration for the summer - "ha- ray"]. I've never heard that the citizens of the city or state had a say-so in this matter - kind of being forced fed this expensive decision. Nor did I hear who was paying for this [a rhetorical question at best] - the bill you know, we all get them - and someone has to pay, like it or not: and we have a very, very high taxed state here, Mr. Mayor (I sent the Mayor a letter when one of my tenants tried to burn one of my houses down: ((reference to the police report)), he has never wrote me back, too busy with the immigrants instead of the citizens he is suppose to be representing): maybe he is - that is, going to pay the bill, I hope so, because I don't want to. I have a Spanish wife from Peru, I had to pay over $2000, to include leg-work, and other things to have her get her so called, "Green Card," which she just got after four years of marriage - no tax payer but me paid the bill. It is ok to be a do-gooder, but not with other people's money: try it when you dig in your own pocket and see how free you are with it, you think twice then. And housing - oh yes, that's a growing issue here, growing so fast it has zoomed out of control, where are you going to put all those people? It is already crowed with tenants - people living on top of people; I used to be a landlord [past tense], here we go, right down to the welfare department again: we got all the freeloaders from Chicago, and Detroit all the way to Alabama now - half of Latin America here [Mexico - included], taxi drivers at the airport that don't know where Rice Street is, let alone the Capitol, from Somalia - every time I take a taxi from there, I've got to draw a map for them: and now more Asians. What do we have 1% born Minnesotans in Minnesota? (I wonder where the Mayor's from) - and now this, a new tax burden for the Governor to look at. What is this goof-ball of a mayor doing; God help us all, I hope his term is just about up. I'm a Vietnam Veteran, so I don't need to hear they helped us in the Great War of Vietnam, they are all saying that nowadays, and have been for over twenty-five years, does that mean we bring the whole nation here to St. Paul [?] ------------ About the author: Mr. Siluk is a world traveler, a lover of the mysteries around the world, and has visit many World Heritage Sites, the most recent being Easter Island and the Galapagos.
