July 31, 2004 I was a soldier for over a decade, and seen American mocked in Vietnam, and in Europe for it values and democracy, and it has been a even larger scale recently, especially in Islamic communities. It's the popular thing to do now, mock our values, or president, even the talk shows are starting it, even David Letterman, whom I respected for an all American is doing it all for ratings and free advertisement, and winning elections. The French the Germans do it for elections like our Senators and politicians do it. And the one who plays the innocent angel, Michael Moore is the worse of the all. How can he even call himself an American, he has taken free speech to a new a dogmatic level, and has no shame in doing it. This is not "true patriotism," but Hat-riot-ism that is being played at the Cannes Film Festival, and all around the country. Even some of the Sunni Muslim's have more respect for American ideals than he does; but if I was to follow Moore, I'd think twice of the current cultural landscape. This is not a conflict on Islam or oil, this is war on ideologies, and in "Fahrenheit 911," we see Moore's. The women in Afghanistan are liberated and are happy to be so, now the children are in school and learning, but Moore does not see beyond his free advertisements and books to sell. I don't think more carried one way or another if an Afghan was raped or killed, or got a meal to eat, or cloths to put on her child, or American solders dying for American values. American men and women are shedding tier blood out there, while he hides behind the Fist Amendment, the right to "free speech;" God help us all, but this diseased insect in enjoying freedom at our expense. Should he move to Egypt, or Jordan, or Iran, or Syria, he would not have this freedom, but he could now in Afghanistan, and possible in Iraq. So he is feeding the so called Islamic prophecy, to convert all over to Islam, and fight all the others, the "holy warriors." The question asked: are we at war with Islam. Not really, but Islam is at war with us, and in particular the West. So like it or not we have to fight it. I have fought for the rights of American's as they now are fighting for me; I have fought and was willing to die for the religious freedoms of Muslim's, to build their Mosques, not believing in Islam, but in American value, as well as I have fought for Churches and Cathedrals, and Synagogues, and Buddhist temples, and Hindu Shrines, all to be planted on American soil. And I support the troops wherever they are. But Moore's mocking this country, and its existence is nothing but hate and money, notoriety on the big cinema, and its is popular. Let us not all be deceived by this Satanic tricks. ------------ About the author: Mr. Siluk is a world traveler, a lover of the mysteries around the world, and has visit many World Heritage Sites, the most recent being Easter Island and the Galapagos.
