Yasser Arafat An Untrustful Rat

By Dennis L. Siluk
July 26, 2004

I know, I shouldn't call him a rat - name calling (although I'm sure he's been called worse), but it rhymed and I couldn't resist, and rat goes with untruthfulness, so lets take it that way; I say that for the Yasser Arafat lovers, of which I am not one of, for no one likes their heroes downsized. Anyhow, politics is the art of lambasting short-sightedness, or so it seems to be on most people's minds. Everyone thinks everyone else has missed something, you know, that little tiny thing you got in the back of your mind that says: "He just don't get it (understand)," when in reality he gets it loud and clear, he just doesn't go along with you. "...oh my gush," he says, "how could that be?" We have an epidemic of people out there doing that: especially in the political arena (me included).

Then we push the word out: "trust," and can't figure out why the other person can't trust you. Arafat says: "You can trust me." But trust is having faith in something or somebody. Arafat says: "Believe in me..." again, that is the same as faith, it is like Evolution, you have to have faith in it, or trust that everything happened the way the evolutionist said it did (that at one time we were monkeys and before that fish and before that possible a flea), even if they change their mind often, like ever other day, trust is saying, they know what they are talking about, and I believe in them (again, as the Evolutionist would have you believe, the giraffe got his neck from reaching up to the heavens for barriers, or trying to eat sunbeams; if that was the case, that would make every male and female lover happy). So now we got: faith and believing, equals trust.

I trust Arafat will have the PLO, and its tentacles (Hamas) kill more Jews as soon as possible. And I trust they will try to get everybody in the world to tare down the Wall, so they can kill easier. I believe in this, and I trust it will be - and I don't even need Arafat to tell me, I just have faith in him. Why, because trust is based on pattern: you've heard people say - (and Arafat has earned my trust in this area, overwhelmingly), heard people say: "We'll see," or "We'll watch as you go along..." or "Seeing is believing." No problem there, so Yassir, our Nobel Peace Prize winner, wins hands down: that is to say, he will continue his little war; again I emphasize, I do believe he will be obedient to his pattern, his so called nature (lets all watch this happen in front of our eyes).

When I look at something or somebody, I say: can I or can I not trust this person to get it done? It's like trying to get a loan for a house, if my loan was based on Arafat bringing about peace with Israel, or in the Middle East, per se, I'd never get a loan from any bank in the world, to include the Arab banks. They might give me the money to shut my mouth, but not on Arafat's pledge to bring about peace. Or any sincerity he might try to infatuate the world with.
