Rambling Thoughts [John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, The NAACP, And God]
July 19, 2004

If anyone out there has a liberal handbook, put it on E-Bay I’ll bid on it. I especially want to read the chapter where it explains how to avoid issues and attack the opposition i.e. antagonists personally.

The closer we get to the elections the harsher the rhetoric becomes. Some of the language used by my critics I wouldn’t write on the men’s room wall at Hooters. I’m sure that’s in the Liberal handbook how to write dirty words. After all didn’t John Kerry say Michael Moore, Whoopee Goldberg and the No-Nothings were representative of all America? Didn’t I tell you about the No-Nothings? It’s the Hollywood crowd. They’ve set the entire Liberal Handbook to music. Their going around the country with Kerry singing his praises. Much like the old Gospel Revivals held in tents in cow pastures. That was so no one would notice the added “Bull”. You know getting it on with the common folks.

You don’t know how much it pains me to say this. I was actually appalled at the treatment dished out to Hillary Clinton by Kerry’s Marauders. For her not to be a first choice as a speaker, to be relegated to a co-hostess position at Girls night out at the up-coming DNC convention is a disgrace. She is a former First-Lady; She’s an impressive Woman, and impressive Senator, a Presidential hopeful and an Icon in the Democratic Party, [You don’t think I’m buying into all this do you]? I think that tells us something about John Kerry’s loyalty. By the way speaking of loyalty what happened to Al Gore? We haven’t heard or seen him since John Edwards came on-board. I guess Al’s gotten use to rejection by now.

There’s not much new in the campaign. Bush bashing stays about the same. Kerry explaining his agenda without ever really explaining anything. His “I have a plan” never get much beyond the, I have a plan stage. We see and hear a lot about Kerry’s war experiences. Is that the same war he left eight months early to come home and campaign against? Is it the same war he used to get elected to Congress but from an contradictory perspective? I thought so!

I did see something worth mentioning on Fox News Sunday. Juan Williams the African American on the show gave President Bush a rave review for his reaching out to African Americans. He pointed out President Bush has appointed three African Americans to Cabinet level positions, a first. His National Security Advisor is an African American and a Woman, a first. [Not that it has any relevance]. He says the President has introduced several bills to improve education through vouchers, a big plus for the black community. The President has meet with a number of black originations, political and religious. The President has put forth a grant proposal for such originations to use to improve the black community. Congress rejects them because someone may mention God. Mr. Williams stated the NAACP has become a puppet of the Liberal Wing of the Democratic Party. They are irrelevant in the minds of most African Americans. With out the support of the media they would dry up and blow away. Mr. Williams gave the Urban League a much higher rating.

Let us think about God for a moment. No I’m not going to preach. Nowhere in the Constitution is the phrase “Separation of Church and State” There’s nothing even coming close. However the name of God does appears in the Declaration of Independence.

The first amendment says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. [Part one]

I interrupter that to mean Congress can’t mandate by law a national religion such as many of the European Countries had at that time. Religious worship was to be totally free of governmental influence or interference.

Or prohibiting the free exorcise thereof, [Part two]

I interrupter that to mean Congress has no right to interfere with the practice of religion. This is one of those concerns that were to be left as a states rights issue.

When you go to the both to vote consider voting for the opposing congressional candidate regardless of party, or any new candidate or even a write in candidate. We need to send a message to congress they need to be responsible to us. [We the voters]. If you make a mistake in your selection it can be corrected in the next election.

This political process is not what the founding fathers envisioned it would be 200 years later. Lets rid the country of an old irrelevant Congress in favor of a new more vibrant one.
