Max Stone & the series is a must read... August 28, 2004 Reviewer: Fiction Reader (New York, NY)

What's in a name, or a title? Well Max Stone is the name that makes this book Executive Betrayal worth reading.

I am not a critic, or a reviewer of books. However, I can say when I started to read, I could not put it down. Each chapter had something new, the story moved from place to place, and every time I thought, I had the plot, it shifted to another.

Ok, granted I am a fiction lover, and I can real, real say I enjoy reading this book, from an unknown author who I will grade 4 stars for his first novel. I hope this review helps others like me who loves fiction novels, its a wonderful read.

P.s. This is not going to be the last from this author, rumors has it on other web links, that Max Stone is a series of novel.

Reviewer: Pat (L. A.) I just loved the way the story line went, with it's in and out's in every chapter. I did not know who is behind it all, or what to think.

I have to say that the author has a way with words, when it came down to the love scene, not going into so much, I'll let you read it for yourself.

I am not a book reviewer, but I do love the book, and the way it carry itself from chapter to chapter, I'll be looking forward to the next issue of the Max Stone series.

Pat, Just another reader.

The author made it easy to read & Understand it all., July 5, 2004 Reviewer: A reader

I am not a fiction reader, but my Friend had brought a copy of "executive betrayal", and told me about the book.

I read the back cover, and found it very interesting, so I pick up one from my loacl book store. I can only say this new wave of thinking is refreshing from what I had read before.

I rate it a 4 stars, and looking to see what they will come up next.

It pass my ten page test - A+ I just loved it..., July 5, 2004 Reviewer: John (Chicago)

What if the Chief of Staff to the Vice-President of the United States committed a series of murders to cover his tracks? What if you were a member of a newly form agency called Department of Counter-Intelligence, who would soon be hot on his tail? Would you arrest him? The Chief of Staff, whose political power in the White House is very well known. Would you report the crime to your Director at DCI, and would the Director do anything about it, knowing the situation? Or would you cover up the crime to protect the nation from another embarrassing moment?

These are the questions Max Stone must resolve in my novel, Executive Betrayal. At the moment of the murders he professes allegiance to Director Peters, but he questions whether he has made the right choice. A quick promotion from FBI agent, to DCI, TTF- Terrorist Task Force, puts him into a job that can overwhelm him. He supports the Director's action on backing off on some of the issues with the case. But within weeks a series of events makes Stone wonder if the Chief of Staff to the VP is as honorable as he seems. Max Stone digs for the truth and unearths secrets woven deeply within the infrastructure of the government. Secrets that touch even his family, but he may be digging his own grave.

I could not believe the ending, which will keep me thinking for a few more months, about who is really is behind it all "Executive Betrayal" a great read for fiction lovers.

John

P.s. Looking forward to the second book, of the Max Stone series.
