Aug 27, 2004 Right when I think I have heard all the most - off the wall crap for the month, I always get surprised, someone comes up with something more stupid than the other guy. Actually I think what it is, is people now-a-days, think other people are as dumb as they would like them to be, and maybe we are. But forty-years ago, had you said such dumb things, you would have been choked to death, or punched in the nose for an insult; well, let me get to the point, this has to do with bin Laden's chauffeur, bodyguard - if you will, and his lawyer. Now I don't blame, or even think the bodyguard (I'll just refer to him as Saqr, it will be easier on me), has used the statements his military lawyer has come up with, so this is more on the lawyer than he. Next, I know the lawyer has got to back him up, you know, say good things to save the scab, but to take it to his level, the level he uses, or an American patriotic level that is, it is using our flag for the wrong reasons, and in essence, thinking, or implying we the people are dumb, and cannot see through this: and if I was still in the Army with more rank than he, I would tare off his uniform. Not for doing his job, but for his statements. This Lt. Cmdr Swift, wants the Government to drop charges, which I'd figure he'd say, charges for being a terrorist, which he said he wasn't because he really didn't kill any Americans, he only drove bin Laden to the butcher shop, so he could make his plans to butcher, and guarded him at all times during this process. In essence, he could have killed bin, but he decided it would be better to drive him around, and let bin do the killing, along with a little smuggling of arms for the cause [I have more respect for bin than Saqr, in that I think bin would admit he was part devil]. I am not going to mention the other half dozen charges he is facing, only that the Swift guy said: "The process goes against everything we fought for in the United States." I don't know if he did any fighting for anything other than in a nice safe courtroom, but tell it to the parents of the families that bin-baby killed; not only on 9/11, but the war, you know Swift, we had a war in Afghanistan. I was in Vietnam, I supported 205,000-troops. Had I been captured and told: "Did you kill anyone," and maybe I did and maybe I didn't, but if I was driving the General around so what, I would have been guilty nonetheless; I was one of those 205,000-troops on the American side, as Saqr was and still is on Big Bin's side; he just happens to be captured. He is not sorry for what he did, he is sorry for getting caught: and he is guilty, as I am guilty for being there willingly. I have never heard of such nonsense; conspiracy-laws put thousands of people in prison each year in the United States. [Actually, they are not being fully used for what they were created for, rather abused, for originally they were created to fight against the drug scene, but have been diverted and used for everything under the sun; abused in part to win court cases, and built reputations for prosecuting attorneys; but that is another issue for another day.] I know this for a fact, for I worked for the BOP, through contracts. If you are part of a theft, a robbery, and you are standing a block away watching for the police [nothing to do with drugs], you are considered [under the conspiracy laws] guilty in the eyes of the law for being part of that transition that took place. You may not go to jail for seven years, but I bet you will for three or four. So don't come up with such bull Mr. Swift. You sound like Letterman on TV waving the American Flag, and not addressing the real issues. We are not as dumb as you would like us to be; simply because you have a military uniform on does not give you the right to use it to throw crap in our faces, many of us, use being the civilians now, had that same uniform on a lot longer than you. Saddam is laughing in his cell over such ridiculous statements you have made. Isn't it funny, now they all want to be treated fairly, and under democratic rules when they lived and killed under their own bloody rules. ------------ About the author: Mr. Siluk is a world traveler, a lover of the mysteries around the world, and has visit many World Heritage Sites, the most recent being Easter Island and the Galapagos.
