John Kerry; What Would He Do?

By Sher Zieve
Aug 23, 2004

Over the past few days, John Kerry has blasted President Bush (verbally and in newly-run Kerry TV ads) for “allowing” the Swiftboat Veterans For Truth to run negative advertisements (called the truth?) against him. Bear in mind, if President Bush even attempts to stop them, it would be censorship. Despite Team Kerry’s trying to affect it, censorship still isn’t allowed in the United States.

As we already know, Kerry’s attorneys sent a letter to television stations “advising” them not to run the ad (with veiled and implied threats regarding the stations’ broadcasting licenses) and are still fighting to have the book “Unfit For Command” removed from sale. They have even approached the book’s publisher (Regnery Publishing) to stop printing additional copies. Thus far, it hasn’t worked. Because of these actions on Kerry’s part, I started wondering what Kerry would do, as President; with any and all terrorist threats and actions against the United States.

Based upon his actions, to date, my guess is that it might go something like this:

• Osama bin-Laden (or one of his operatives) tells the Kerry that if he does not immediately convert to Islam (fundamentalist Islam is already threatening the US from Canada and now Mexico and Central America…they’re beginning to surround us) he will attack the United States with nuclear weapons. What would Kerry do? Kerry advises one of his attendants to purchase a prayer rug, begins facing Mecca and praying five times a day and attending an Islamic mosque (without Theresa of course).

• Osama then tells Kerry “That’s not enough! You need to establish our system of justice!” What would Kerry do? Immediately (if not sooner) Kerry has one of his attendants tell all of the very liberal/leftist judges in the country that they are to implant the Islamic Shari’a. No need to get the Legislative branch involved. Besides, it would take too long and the liberals already own the in-place leftist judges.

• Osama tells Kerry: “That’s still not enough! You have to get rid of all other religions except Islam!” What would Kerry do? Already upset with the Catholic Church over its attempts to deny him Communion, Kerry advises that all churches and synagogues be boarded up or leveled for the building of new mosques. “That should make Osama happy,” Kerry thinks, wincing as his nurse administers another shot of Botox.

• “That’s good, John,” Osama tells him, “but we now need to get rid of all non- Muslims. As you are now part of the Islamic nation, you can understand that. Can’t you?” he smirks. Now, Kerry begins to tremble. Genocide had not been one of his considerations. So, he tells Osama that he’ll have to get back to him. Osama replies: “Don’t take too long, John. Remember the nuclear warheads I have aimed at the White House and the other cities across our… or your vast country.” Osama leaves and the visibly shaken Kerry calls his attorneys into the oval office. Unfortunately, they are now only practicing Shari’a. They tell him they can’t help and exit quickly. Kerry calls Jacque Chirac and Schroeder for help. Unfortunately, as the US has now acquiesced to the terrorists, each of their countries is experiencing its own severe problems. They can’t help and each tells him: “You’re on your own, John.” Kerry now realizes that he is in real trouble and will have to make the dreaded call; the call that he had never planned to make. He dials, it rings, is picked up and he hears the voice on the other end say “Hello. “Before you say anything else,” Kerry begins, “I’ll admit it. You were right. But, now I desperately need your help. Osama is threatening me…I mean the country…big time.” “Sure, John,” the familiar West-Texas drawl is unmistakable. “I’ve always helped the United States when it’s in trouble.” To be continued…

I grant you, this is (so far) a fictional account. But, in consideration of John Kerry’s projected policies and plans (actually lack thereof), his proclivity towards appeasement (his actions speak much louder than his words) and his lack of any real leadership qualities (Kerry is a follower…not a leader), something similar just might happen. It’s not that far out of the realm of possibility. It’s your choice in November. Please vote wisely.
