John Kerry Just Can’t Stand The Heat

By Sher Zieve
Aug 22, 2004

It would be sad, really, if it weren’t so scary that John Kerry…“Scary Kerry”…could actually be President of the United States. Here is a presidential candidate who has (at least) 254 of his former Swift Boat crewmates who have signed affidavits and are appearing in Television ads against him. Kerry is furious…FURIOUS with them for deigning to oppose his candidacy, by bringing up his actions in Viet Nam (Note: Mr. Kerry, you were the one who decided to make your service in Viet Nam your platform). How dare they? After all, Kerry brought his own camera to the war and didn’t even ask anyone else if he could borrow theirs! More trouble for Mr; Kerry is that the economy is still pretty positive, Iraq is being turned over to the Iraqis (with the expected and inherent problems associated with any major transfer of power), the sales of “Unfit For Command” are placing it at the top of the book sales charts (despite the best efforts of Kerry and his minions to obliterate it) and, now, Judicial Watch has filed charges against him. Whew! Lately, when you look at Mr. Kerry, you can actually see the sweat trickling down his Botox-enhanced cheeks.

Instead of taking the “positive approach” that he said he would, Kerry (as most liberals) sees all manner of conspiracies in the opposition and has now taken the posture of “I’ll get you my pretties and your little dog Toto, too!” Wasn't it Kerry who said "Bring it on"? It’s gotten to the point that whenever I hear his monotone voice I actually get a headache…a real one! Does anyone really like his voice? Does his wife?

I don’t know exactly when Kerry began the unraveling process, but it’s becoming ever more apparent each and every day. Now, even his wife doesn’t think he’d be up to the job (Theresa said in a recent interview that she didn’t think anyone can handle the job of President of the US). Thankfully, things are a lot different in South Africa. That still had to be a pretty tough nut for Kerry to swallow. When Mr. Kerry condescends to speak in front of his public (AKA “the common folk”), he is detached and has, as yet, not given any speech with any substance; just vague generalities that he believes his supporters want to hear. However, lately he appears to have become more unhinged. He argues with interviewers (from his own media!) when they ask him to explain his “plan”. He has refused to answer their questions, intimating that they and the rest of us will “just have to wait until I'm president”. Huh? That doesn’t make any sense.

Recently, he (again) called President Bush “reckless” for planning to remove some of our troops (over a 10 year period…not tomorrow) from Europe and South Korea. This is exactly what Kerry said should be done, no more than a month or so ago! As he drives himself to the funny farm, he appears bound and determined to take the rest of us with him. I’m not going.

I just wish, for once, Kerry would be consistent about something…ANYTHING would do. Wait a minute…he is. He consistently bashes President Bush for everything he does or doesn’t do or thinks he might or might not do; even when Kerry has said that he’d do the same thing (remember Kerry has no plan).

Yes, Kerry is sweating, as he continues to dance as fast as he can. I guess he’s forgotten what one famous Democrat said a long time ago: “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!”-President Harry Truman. Mr. Kerry could learn from that.
