Aug 21, 2004 Just when I had come to the conclusion that no one was ever going to pursue anything significant in regards to John Kerry’s war records (I’ve already given up on the liberal mainstream media which will never “report” on anything that would harm its candidate), along came this story forwarded by a reader. On Wednesday 18 August, Judicial Watch filed a formal complaint against John Forbes Kerry which includes: “Request for Investigation, Determination and Final Disposition of Awards Granted to Lieutenant (junior grade) John Forbes Kerry, USNR” (see http://www.judicialwatch.org/3794.shtml). The individuals to whom the complaint was sent include the Inspector General DOD, Office of [the] Naval Inspector General, Chief of Naval Operations-U.S. Navy and the Navy Department Board of Decorations and Medals. The body of the complaint includes, but is not limited to, charges of Kerry’s fraudulent justifications for [his] received medals and awards and “waste and abuse that bear directly on the resources, policies, procedures, efficiency, good order and honor of both the Department of Defense and the U.S. Navy”. There is, also, a stipulation in the Uniform Code of Military Justice which allows for the revocation of awarded medals. It states: “Any award for a distinguished act, achievement or service may be revoked . . . after presentation by SECNAV, if facts subsequently determined, would have prevented the original approval of the award, or if the awardee’s service after the distinguishing act, achievement or service has not been honorable.” Lest anyone think that these charges are frivolous…think again. This is an extremely serious matter and I doubt that this will be “swept under the rug”, as many other Kerry stories have been. Much of the complaint includes information (including notarized documentation) obtained from the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth. “Unfit For Command” is, most certainly, having a decided and strong influence and effect on many. It’s no wonder that Kerry and his Band of Barristers are attempting to ban this book! Too many unsavory stories about Mr. Kerry are finally coming out, through the “alternative press”, for us to disregard them. With all of Mr. Kerry’s changes of positions on virtually everything, his refusals to discuss anything salient as to what he would do as POTUS (he has said he’ll keep his plans “secret” until he’s “elected”), his [almost] admission that he lied about his “Cambodian Caper”, his bringing in his lawyer minions to strong-arm any who oppose him and the mysteries surrounding Kerry’s awarded medals, can we even remotely trust him with the Office of President of the United States?
