Aug 11, 2004 The book “Unfit For Command” hit the best seller list, a week or so before its release. For those who have just returned from Mars, the book explores and exposes the inconsistencies (with an outright lie regarding Kerry’s statements that President Nixon sent him on some “secret mission to Cambodia”…Nixon wasn’t even President during the time Kerry claims he was there) of Democrat candidate for President-John Kerry. Kerry’s and the DNC’s attorneys have worked non- stop to suppress the TV ads of the Swiftboat Veterans For Truth and (it was briefly reported) that these attorneys also approached the book’s publishers in an attempt to stop its release. Now, some reports indicate that some of the major booksellers are not carrying the book. Have Kerry and his attorneys effectively stopped the major distribution of the book? What do Kerry and his attorneys fear? If, as Kerry’s attorneys claim, Unfit For Command is “filled with lies and libelous statements” (made by from between 60-200+ former “Swifties” who served with Kerry), why not debate the people who wrote and contributed to the book? Heaven knows, there have been dozens and dozens of libelous books written about President Bush. Even though many of these books contain information that was proved patently false, the “mainstream media” still reviewed and praised them. Now, however, when there is a published account from people who worked, slept with and interfaced with John Kerry in Viet Nam and on a daily basis, there is a strong (and somewhat successful) attempt to smother it. The “mainstream press” (including all of the usual suspects) isn’t even reporting on this extremely important exposé. If the claims in the book are true, we-the-people need to know. But, it seems that Kerry’s team continues to control the mainstream media; a media that gleefully pushes known lies about President Bush and squashes the truth about Kerry. Some reports are that booksellers are telling their readers that the “book won’t be available until November”. Huh? Does this mean that the “Kerry Media” is squashing the book’s availability, so that it better ensures Kerry’s chances for election? Sure sounds like it to me! The mainstream media are “willing idiots” for the Kerry campaign. If there were any doubts before…they’re gone now. These are the same strong-arm tactics that have been effectively used in all Communist countries. Do you want to be able to read the book? Can you get groups together to protest at the booksellers? “We the people of the United States” should be allowed to make our own choices, as to whether or not we find Unfit For Command credible. But, with John Kerry in charge, we will have to look forward to this type of censorship and worse. He has already shown his hand, over and over again.
