Aug 3, 2004 As a member of the Fleet Marines who served in Vietnam from 1967-1968 I know that the Naval Tour of Duty was 13 months. John Kerry only served 30% of his tour before he ran away. I do not understand why this fact is never mentioned in any of the "news" reports. He did not have to leave because of his Hearts (I have 2 btw) he asked to leave. He is, and was, a coward.
