Apr 18, 2004 Every story is supposed to have a "fairy tale ending." Atleast that is what is portrayed on T.V. Sure it's entertainment, but how close to reality is it? Take the movie "What a Girl Wants" for example where Amanda Bynes travels to England in search of her long lost father. Who in the end ends up being something short of royalty. Another example is the movie "Princess Diaries" Where a geeky teenage girl played by Anne Hathaway becomes a Genovian princess over night? Where in reality does that really happen? What about the everyday girl who is looking for her father that ends up being an average joe and she's happy with it? Or what about the average woman with a dream of becoming something or someone important and actually succeeds at it? I guess the definition of a "fairy tale ending" can be all a matter of how you look at it. For some it's finding a rich long lost father. While for others the search for it is never ending. To me a fairy tale ending is every day. Every day is a fairy tale ending just as it is the begining of a wonderful quest. ------------ About the author: My name is Maria Teresa Sheikh.
