Apr 23, 2004 It is difficult to believe that each one of us have experienced brainwashing to ourselves and to our families. It is more difficult to find out that not only have we been taught, but we have also passed it down to our children. I, for one, have NOT taught my son to brainwash or to be a victime of it. I will say that my parents tried and failed to brainwash me. Which is why I have limited association with them. As I mentioned in my previous chapters, we must watch out for the following institutions: School, Church, Employers, Doctors and yes, Lawyers also. We should be aware of the fact that they have alot of opinions, all which are so until proven true. In most cases, it never is. We are people just suffer from their advice and continue to be brainwashed by them- now is that deep or what? I do my own research, my own observations and make my own judgements. Even if it proves to be wrong after time, at least it was my decision. At that time I make adjustments to my ideas. Never take anyone or anything as absolutely fact. Nothing is, until PROVEN to be so. A person must constantly educate oneself to see if they are becoming a victim of brainwashing or not. That individual must check their friends to see if they are trying to brainwash him/her or not. This is not to say to be paranoid, but that does not mean that you take everything at face and hearing value. Plain and Simple. The internet is a place to search and check things out. The Library is another place. We need to be careful what we decide is fact, not brainwashing material. We can be fooled into thinking that the information that we are getting from the large newpapers, TV and people in power are true. In fact, most of it is not, unfortunately. It is always best to get a few opinions and then go with what YOU decide is fact, not the brainwashing media hype. I hope everyone is doing fine, clearly.
