Apr 23, 2004 It’s spring! It’s time to dust off the old clubs and attempt another guarded but optimistic, season of golf. This year it WILL be different because I have invented a new and improved system for golf. If I were to market this concept in a speaking tour or sell it as an infomercial on TV, I could make tens of thousands of dollars! However, I will share it with you for free and quite possibly be nominated for a Nobel Piece Prize! So here you go: If you finish your hole with the same ball you teed of with, you score yourself par. If you lose a ball and do a ball drop and then finish the hole, you score one over par. If you find a ball while finishing a hole with your original one, you score one under par. It doesn’t matter if the ball is cracked or split. A ball is a ball. Just imagine your excitement when you find a cache of balls imbedded in the mud at a water hazard! Score 2,3 or 4 under par! So, there you have it! You are now free to enjoy the wonderful world of golf! ------------ About the author Al Drachenberg: Media professional for 32 years with a board game in the works and currently writting a horror novel and childerns novel.
