Apr 5, 2004 The full moon has such a magic feeling to it. The sky is lit up with silver brilliance, its almost as bright as day at midnight. Truly a mystical sight to see. The moon has such a full and fascinating history. Its believed that the light of the full moon will change humans into animals, or will grant you a child if you know the proper spell. And the Pagan religion centers on the moon and sun as its major icons. It fills children’s stories, such as the Man in the Moon. As we gain knowledge in technology and move our civilization forward we start to forget about the powerful effect the moon has on us. And yet, late at night, when sleep won’t come we sit outside and look at the moon and remember, in a fundamental way, what a powerful effect the moon has on us. ------------ About the author: Catherine is currently enrolled at the SRJC and has joined the Air Force.
