Feb. 23, 2006 Twenty-five, count them; twenty-five years ago Michael Morales raped, tortured and murdered a 17 year old girl. He received a fair trial; went through his obligatory 25 year round of appeals and was finally given an execution date that today, has been postponed again. The AP report found on FOXNEWS entitled: “Calif. Delays Execution of Killer Indefinitely”, Tuesday, February 21, 2006 told me: “The state [of CA] on Tuesday postponed indefinitely the execution of a condemned killer amid a court battle over the state's method of lethal injection and the role doctors may play in the death chamber. Morales, 46, was supposed to die by lethal injection at 12:01 a.m. But the execution was put off until at least Tuesday night after the anesthesiologists objected that they might have to advise the executioner if the inmate woke up or appeared to suffer pain.” Continuing: "Any such intervention would clearly be medically unethical," the doctors, whose identities were not released, said in a statement. "As a result, we have withdrawn from participation in this current process." This is the same Michael Morales who had bought time with faked letters on his behalf from supposed members of his jury asking for clemency (AP report Sat. Feb. 11, “Prosecutors: Jury’s Morales Letters Faked”). He bought a few more days on top of his 25 years by forcing a court into a decision to bring in an anesthesiologist to put him out so he would feel no pain when the lethal drugs were introduced to his system (AP, Feb 15, “California to use Anesthesiologist to Make Sure Execution is Painless”) So appeasement of a murderer has brought California to its knees. Morales cannot be executed because everyone is afraid to cause Morales pain. Gee! I wonder if the 17 year old girl he RAPED, TORTURED and then MURDERED felt any pain? What do you think? Do you think the 17 year old girl that was RAPED, TORTURED and MURDERED felt any pain when she was RAPED, TORTURED AND MURDERED? The point is that Michael Morales is a cowardly puke who has lived 25 years past the proper sentence of death. The State of California has bent over forwards to ensure Michael Morales can continue to screw California justice while chewing down on a few more free meals. Lethal injection may end up being designated “cruel and unusual” punishment. So perhaps we should pump him full of sedative and then just drain out all his blood. That should be painless enough. “…17-year-old Terri Winchell…” never got to her 18th birthday.
