Jan. 19, 2006 There it was; page ten, tucked into a corner. The day before Hillary Clinton and her plantation comment was front page news on most web sites and a one half page 3 item in the “Stars and Stripes”. Not today thank you. Today’s “Stripes” has given all of one sentence of the Republican response to Madam Clinton’s reversion to her Arkansan sensibilities in regard to race. The Republicans are quoted saying Clinton was “out of bounds” with her remarks that the Bush Administration was “one of the worse in US history” and compared the republican led House to a “plantation”. Ignoring the fact that anything coming from the mouth of the female half of the Democratic screeching duo of Dean and H.R. Clinton is subject to scrutiny; ignoring the fact that much of what H.R. Clinton spouts is talking point clap-trap; ignoring the fact that Clinton is a socialist and is desperate for her own attention apart from the other half of the marriage that makes Al Franken’s book about liars seem extremely tame by comparison; ignoring the fact that H.R. Clinton is getting more wrinkles than a gallon of “Botox” can smother; in fact, ignoring all that is Clintonian; we might say this woman will never get through the primaries should she consider a run for the White House in 2008. Can you imaging a whole nation being talked to like your Mother-in-Law talks to you for 4 years? ARGH! This little-bitty, 2-inch filler is the entire rebuke the Republicans get in the “Stripes” for a remark that, had it been spoken by Tom Delay or Karl Rove would have meant calls for a lynching! Hillary-the-Goddess-of-all that-is-Democratic cannot do any wrong! Her remarks are “right-on” and good to go. Just ask Barack Obama. I told you I’d be following this “New Democrat” To quote the 2-inch filler’s second inch: “Sen. Barack Obama on Wednesday defended Clinton, saying he felt her choice of words referred to a “consolidation of power” in Washington that squeezes out the voters.” The “New” Senator Obama has defended Dick Durbin, has been one of the 40 Democratic Senators to take money from Jack Abramhoff and has now defended the junior senator (No Not Schumer…the other one) from New York in her borderline Arkansan racism-laden remarks. Senator Obama even managed to “spin” a wonderful tidbit of innuendo that it is the Republicans who “squeeze out” voters. I wish someone would please explain the “majority rules” rule to Senator Obama. I understand he is being taught by the best and brightest the Democrats have to offer: Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Howard Dean, H.R. Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Barney Frank, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. All that training is showing in his siding with the idiot remarks of Madam Clinton. It’s all in the “spin”. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae has contributed over 500 articles to Useless-Knowledge.com.
