British Airways, CEO Cries: US Sucks

By Dennis L. Siluk
Sept. 28, 2005

Sir [with a big ‘S’] Rod Eddington feels British Airways should be able to take up the slack or America’s misfortune, in its faltering airline services, and of course pick up their hard earned customers, and not worry about the unemployment lines for the workers here in America: that’s called British Free Trade. Suck is the final outcome of Sir [with a big ‘S’] Eddington: shame on him. He does not like our bankruptcy laws in America, thus, he would like to change them to suite him: how dandy for the British CEO. He’s leaving office I guess, maybe for the better, so what has he got to lose if he slams our system: a little poke in the ribs. What I recommend he do for himself, is to go to 10 Downing Street, and tell them his sour rapes story.

It’s all about ‘self’ isn’t it Eddington? yes, oh yes, benefit you, and America’s demise would fill his pockets—make him look good and his Airlines, that’s the real sour grapes: wait for the hurricane; you must have your glasses wiped clean I’m sure.

And he says many people have a Free Ride in America, and he would be right I suppose, it’s a free country, and if you can figure out a way I expect they will try that to, but many of the folks on this free ride are British, if we learned it, we learned it from you folks: it just took us a while: remember the slogan: the sun never rises on the British Empire: an old slogan, but the only difference is sour grapes is added to the ‘sun rise,’ part now.

Yes, we have such tings as chapter 11, or 13 or 7, for bankruptcies, and the way it works is: for company or individual, the bankruptcy laws were made so a financial burden does not enslave anyone, yes: so it would free them up for a new start, not send them over to Australia to rot. So when you point fingers, look in the mirror Mr. [big ‘S’] Eddington.
