Sept. 26, 2005 In Joran van der Sloot's interview for A Current Affair he restates his big lie. He admits that they all lied but sticks with the ridiculous story that he and Natalee were BOTH drunk, the sex was consensual, and that she refused to leave the beach. Poor, gentlemanly Joran even tried to carry her back to the car...Natalee supposedly refused and remained on the beach while our hero left her there. This doesn't jive with Deepak's admission that they ALL three had sex with her or anything else in her known history or behavior. Knowing that she was to catch a plane the next day and that her friends would be worried about her, why would Natalee choose to stay on a beach all night with no one for company or to help her if she got lost? Why would she choose to be left alone in the first place in a strange country? The answer is NOT blowin' in the wind my friends...the answer is that she WOULDN'T. The only way that Natalee would participate in having sex with three strangers and than demand that she be left alone on a deserted beach is if she was so incapacitated that she couldn't make rational decisions. When last seen by her friends she was NOT falling down drunk and she was able to speak and answer their questions. She was not incapacitated or impaired from all witness accounts except for Joran's account. We all know how much Joran's word is worth...how many lies did he tell? I know, I've lost count too. Joran is far worse than I ever imagined him to be. He not only got away with whatever happened to Natalee he continues to lie and he does it from the safe-haven of his native country where he is protected (just as he was protected on Aruba). I heard from Julia Renfrow, the Editor of Aruba Today Newspaper awhile ago and I wondered why she had chosen me to write too. I had called for a boycott of Aruba in my past articles but she claimed that she had NOT read those articles. So, why me? I believe that she DID read my articles and wanted to convince me NOT to even mention the word boycott. She claimed that she had witnessed how terrible it is for people to lose their ability to earn a living...how devastating that would be for the wonderful people of Aruba. This was all before I discovered how much of a vested interest Ms. Renfrow has on the island of Aruba. This was before I came to understand that SHE would lose a LOT if Aruba were to undergo a serious boycott. I still don't want to see innocent people harmed in any way but I also STILL want answers to the mystery of Natalee Holloway and as long as Joran and his ilk are protected by the officials from Aruba and Holland I will stand by my original statements. DON'T go to Aruba....not until they do what is right and moral and give the Holloway/Twitty family the answers that they seek. Not until they can prove that our citizens would be safe under their care. So far, this has NOT been proven and the more Joran speaks the less I believe that Aruba did all it could to bring those "suspects" to justice. I can't impose guilt on any of them at this point because we are all innocent until proven guilty, but I can demand that they at least re-arrest them and punish them for impeding an investigation.
