Sept. 21, 2005 Recently Useless Knowledge Magazine has been attacked by a number of disgruntled whiners and complainers. They ganged up and got Useless Knowledge Magazine kicked out of Google News because of this unfair negative campaign. Even so, as a reader of Useless Knowledge Magazine YOU can fight back by contacting google news directly. You can also ask Yahoo News to add useless knowledge mag. Please take a few minutes and do this right now, because when a small number of malcontents work to hurt something good, other people need to rally in support of what is good and patch up the damage. Without a doubt freedom of speech is good, and Useless Knowledge Magazine encourages freedom of speech! The issue is crystal clear. Those of us who write for Useless Knowledge Magazine do not make any claim to always be correct! But suppose the LAW is to stone a person or a group of persons who have made a mistake. Who do you know who has never made a mistake, and gotten 100% on every single school test? Freedom of speech includes the right to make mistakes. On Useless Knowledge Magazine there are articles on most any subject written from from most any point of view. Certainly some of these views are not orthodox! So what? So what if some U-K writers sound offensive? Some unusual ideas are GOOD. Not all ideas have to be correct to bring progress. Maybe that last thought's a little deep, and it would make a good subject for a future U-K article. Please click away and do your part. Send a polite request to Google to put Useless Knowledge Magazine back on their news list. Please also write to Yahoo and request that they add Useless Knowledge Magazine to their news list.
