Sept. 19, 2005 An Aruban court ruled that the three main suspects in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway can remain free without conditions -- overturning an earlier decision that restricted their travel and required them to remain available to investigators. The Aruban appeals court ruled there was a "lack of sufficient grounds and serious suspicions" to keep the restrictions on Joran van der Sloot and two Surinamese brothers, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. In other words, after three and half months of intense grilling, the Aruban judicial system has ruled that there is insufficient evidence to hold these three gentlemen. These three young men were the victims of Beth Holloway Twitty's vendetta, but thankfully common sense and the rule of law prevailed and they are now free to continue their interrupted lives. Beth Holloway Twitty was a one-woman wrecking crew, confronting Deepak at his place of employment, harassing the van der Sloot's at their residence, and using the willing media to ruin the reputation of these young men. The media created Hurricane Twitty, giving her unprecedented access to the airwaves to vent her bile. Why, because she is a "grieving mother." Because she is a "grieving mother" she can brand the innocent Kalpoe brothers "criminals", hijack the cable news outlets and lash out at the Aruban authorities. Why does the media make a fetish out of "grieving mothers"? Why no word of sympathy for "grieving father" Dave Holloway? The media gives "grieving mother" and certified Loony Tunes, Cindy Sheehan, a platform to spread her crazy and anti-Semitic views. It is ludicrous for the cable news stations to give Beth Twitty unfettered access because they feel sorry for a grieving mother. For God's sake, there are literally thousands of grieving mothers who have missing children. If you are going to be ruled by cheap sentimentality, then give all these other women air time as well. Beth Holloway Twitty has become a reality star, she's on a first name basis with Geraldo Rivera and Greta van Susteren. It's "Geraldo" this and "Greta" that, it's sickening.
