Sept. 15, 2005 Beth Holloway-Twitty, the media-maven-loving mother of Natalee Holloway, the beautiful missing-from-Aruba Alabama honours student who, according to various websites, was awarded an eight-year, full-ride scholarship for a four-year premedicine degree at the University of Alabama, is certain these days of only two things: 1…The unconditional support of Jossy Mansur, Aruba’s ubiquitous go-to guy. 2…Her gut-felt feeling that the Van Der Sloot family--mother, father and son--is irrevocably responsible for the vanishing, and ravishing, of her honour-student daughter in darkest Aruba. Her husband, Jug Twitty, figures prominently in the family fantasies and tragedies. He is an old Aruban hand; an old school chum of the Mansur family; he supported the decision to send the step-daughter to Aruba; and he and an assorted gaggle of Alabama good ol’ boys accompanied his wife on that intercontinental Alabama-to-Aruba dash in their futile attempt to apprehend Natalee and return her to the bosom of the family. The Christian Right, with zeal worthy of the Crusaders’ attempts to wrest control of the Holy Places from the infidels, embraced the Natalee Holloway story with an eagerness not seen since the purple Kool-Aid was passed around in Jonestown not so long ago. But now enters the snake into this idyllic Garden of Eden, rearing its ugly head. Also sinuously entwined in this almost-incestuous Twitty-Mansur coupling is the decade-long hatred of the Mansur family for anything that is Van Der Sloot related. Dan Riehl asserts http://websleuths.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-28242 that, “it is believed that Paulus Van der Sloot participated on a panel which agreed to extradite two relatives of the Mansurs to the US under serious charges some years back. One cannot be fair and balanced without at least mentioning that your primary source of information in this case may well have an agenda against, not only the Dutch in a political sense, but also Paulus Van der Sloot directly.” The US government states in May, 2002, http://www.loc.gov/rr/frd/pdf-files/NarcsFundedTerrs_Extrems.pdf that,” ...Until the U.S. indictment of the Mansur brothers for money laundering, Philip Morris’ main distributor in Latin America was the Mansur Free Zone Trading Company, N.V….The pesos then flow into the Colombian bank accounts of the drug barons. Allegedly, much of the proceeds garnered by the Mansur brothers went to Hizballah….” Wonderful. Wasn’t Hizballah implicated initially in the 9/11 hijackings? The Christian soldiers are presently soldiering-on in indirect support of the terrorist organization that was linked by the US Government to the World Trade Centre terror attack: the same attack that led to US involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq, and to thousands of US combat deaths. Next time you pray for Natalee, also say a prayer or two for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan…but don’t tell them about the above.
