Bonjou Ami, Don't POP!

By John L. Waters
Sept. 14, 2005

Recently, Bonjou Ami sent me a short note, part of which went like this:
“Skeptics read my columns and write to me and ask me why I haven't been institutionalized yet with electroshock therapy applied to my brain.”

“Let them think what they want, but I will continue to write what I believe in and I will continue to write as I see fit. If they don't like what I write, then they have the option to not read .”

Thank you Bonjou Ami for your letter. I think the skeptics are joking, just giving you a hard time. On the other hand, some skeptics really are Internet bullies. I'm sorry you are bothered by such provocation. But I say, even if the skeptics pop off at you, you don't have to pop back.

Whenever I get an email from an Internet bully I read the letter with multiple grains of salt. Sometimes I publish all or part of the letter for other Internet users to study and reflect upon.

Internet skeptics who attack you rudely are angry and arrogant verbal bullies, and to begin to feel the way you feel, they might need to work directly with a yogi. They might need to chill out and warm up to the universe, if that makes any sense.

Speaking of sense, I have seventeen articles ready to send to Useless-Knowledge Magazine but some of these articles are a bit cheesy, and some of my articles push people pretty hard and a strong yogi does not push people at all. A strong yogi lives in union and a person in union doesn't push people. Neither does the student of a yogi push the yogi or anyone else. The yogi teaches others to feel at peace and be in union with the whole universe.

Bonjou Ami, don't let the bullies intimidate you. Don't POP! If you feel distressed and angry over being attacked, spend time with a wise teacher. Practice meditation daily.

Keep on keeping on.
