Sept. 13, 2005 It saddens me when I see all the abused and abandoned children on television. It breaks my heart when I see children hurt or murdered. I see so many children that are NOT taken care of and loved. I have enough love in my heart for all the children of the world. I have two beautiful little boys and one in the oven (another sweet little boyJ). I would move Heaven and earth for them. I would kill for my babies and yet I hear of so many infants in dumpsters and left in the garbage like they are nothing. This makes no sense to me. I cannot comprehend this mindset. I know that a person can be scared and not know where to turn, but there are so many loving people out there that want children and cannot have them that would gladly take a child in with no questions asked. There is just no excuse to turn a child away. I would adopt all the abandoned children in the world if I could. If this article saves at least one child or stops one person from closing the dumpster on that beautiful baby, then this short article has served its purpose. Please don’t throw a life away. Children truly are a gift from God. Better yet, if anyone is reading this and is thinking of throwing away a child, then email me and I will be glad to help in any way that I can. I truly want to help any child that I can from being harmed, because no human life is more precious than another. Our children are out future and what we teach then will come home to roost. We need to remember that these children that we are raising will someday be taking care of us and the way we treat them is the way that they learn to treat other people, including one day their own parents. So I am telling everyone, raise your children to the way that you would one day want them to treat you. My motto, treat others as you would want them to treat you. ------------ About the author: Dawn Carr of Mobile Alabama….aspiring author. Smile! God Loves You!
