Sept. 6, 2005 When I signed a copy of my book, Karen’s Adventure, for my parents, I included a little note stating how grateful I was for them, for if not for those two important people in my life, my presence in this world would not be. And to commemorate my first year at Useless-Knowledge, I thought I would also thank the editor of this site for, apart from entering this world via my parents, I might not have been here either, had the editor not requested me to write for the site. For some people tend to forget their earliest beginnings once they have achieved a certain standard in life, and then again, there are the ones who do not. For when you really take a look back at it all, some of you successful people reading this might not be where you are today, had it not been for your earliest beginnings. It is that series of events that take you from where you once were, to where you are now, bringing about changes in you that were not known to you before. And writing for this site has changed the way I look at different aspects of life, right from my first article about listening to the radio to this one, and when you change, so do you also grow. So it is with great pride I say that in the past year or so, I have also grown, and I thank you too, the editor of Useless-Knowledge. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to distance myself from the issues long enough in order to be able to write about them, and thanks to you too, all you readers out there. Thanks for reading and taking the time to email me, I appreciate each and every one of them. ------------ About the author Judy Ramsook: My first book titled: "Karen's Adventure" which is about two young girls who go in search of their missing parents, is now available.
