Oct. 27, 2005 The sixties ruined this country. Yes we were free to do almost anything we wanted to do, but something happened during this period. Lennon shouted louder and louder and for what. He saw that things were indeed getting out of hand and freedom didn't mean recklessness and mayhem. Under the guise of protesting we ran in the streets striking anything the establishment had to offer. In the name of change and with passive aggressive moves we not only, did not move forward but took a few steps back. Then yet another amazing thing happened. Oh, we knew this day was going to come sooner or later but were we ready? We the nation's revolutionaries grew up. Now we ran things, owned businesses and became leaders. Now maybe things could change. What the people never realized was that infiltrating the establishment meant becoming the establishment. Now we had become what we fought so hard to change. Making snap decisions and panic seems to be the trend. Look towards the children, not for tools to learn but how we are doing. Most families are doing just fine but today people are doing things for the wrong reasons. A child is someone that we care for and teach, for the future. We try and teach to the best of our ability. Many people have children for selfish reasons. Two used to be the average but now five and six is the trend. Most of these families are a one parent family, which give the word fore fathers a whole new meaning. Now, with this I say, if you feel the need to have a baby then be prepared to love and teach it to be a better person. Support is the key not ignore. Love it and cherish the miracle of birth. Within the next few years the new breed of rebel rousers are going to be amongst us and sure, they will also try and change the world. They will go against all that we think is the norm and will indeed take a step back just as many before them did, that is until they find themselves doing what they were fighting against. We can't help this. This is just our way of life. Change means doing things differently not repeating what we thought was once a cool thing to do. Learn so you can teach. If we as individuals can think of changing our own lives first, then we can move forward.
