Oct. 25, 2005 Deputy Chief of Police Dombpig has received the tapes of Deepak Kalpoe talking about Natalee Holloway. He now has to authenticate those tapes (whatever that means and however long that may take). Even if the tapes are proven to be pristine and that they verify that Deepak spoke on the tapes unedited they WILL NOT be enough to charge or re-arrest the boys. Deepak and his attorney will be called into Police Headquarters and questioned. There is NO law in the Aruban system that punishes people for lying or even confessing to crimes. The most that can happen is that they will present the tapes to the Judges of Instruction to show them that there are personality flaws in at least Deepak and hopefully the Judges will allow the police to detain the boys for questioning in the eight day cycle again. There are no guarantees that any of this will happen. Also, Dave Holloway was INSTRUCTED where to search for Natalee in the ocean. Why now? Did Dombpig NOT have this information because like a lot of other pieces of the puzzle it was hidden or destroyed or undocumented by the first Chief of Police (Paulus' friend and cohort)? Suddenly they told Dave NOT to search in the landfill or anywhere but the ocean. Also, when asked why Aruba had not done searches of these areas they stated that they did NOT have the proper equipment to do the searches. What happened to the Dutch Marines...to ANYONE from Holland getting involved and being asked to send the proper equipment? Is the expense too great to waste their time and money? Is Holland without the necessary resources to do a search in water?
